Martin Musi, MD, DiMM, FAWM

Dr. Martin Musi attended Buenos Aires University School of Medicine in Argentina and emigrated to the USA to complete his Emergency Medicine Residency.
He is an assistant professor at the University of Colorado, director of the Wilderness Medicine Fellowship, and mountain rescue doctor. He is the founder of the Diploma in Mountain Medicine of the Andes.
Ryan Paterson, MD, DiMM
Dr. Ryan Paterson attended the University of Vermont School of Medicine and completed his Emergency Medicine residency and fellowship in Wilderness Medicine at Denver Health Medical Center/University of Colorado. He is a co-founder of the WMS DiMM course. Dr. Paterson is an altitude researcher, expedition physician, medical director and guide.

Instructors
Nicolas Mena, MD
Dr. Nicolás Mena attended the University of Chile School of Medicine and completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at the Catholic University of Chile.
Founder and current president of GREMM, Mountain Medical Rescue Group, NGO that provides medical services on a voluntary basis in mountain rescues in Santiago de Chile. He has served as medical support for expeditions in Dhaulagiri, Nepal, and joined DiMM Andes Team after a re-routed expedition through the Alaskan territory.

Max Smolkin, MD
Born in Patagonia, Argentina, he is an Internal Medicine Hospitalist at St. Anthony Summit Hospital in Frisco, CO, where he also chairs Clinical Services Medicine. Board-certified in Internal Medicine, he completed a Fellowship in Wilderness Medicine at the University of Colorado and founded a High Altitude Medicine clinic in Silverthorne. An expedition physician and outdoor enthusiast, he has worked in Alaska and Peru and enjoys trail running, mountain biking, climbing, and snowboarding.

Luciano Fiorenza, IFMGA-UIAGM guide

Luciano Fiorenza is an accomplished and renowned IFMGA- UIAGM Mountain Guide. He is the former “guide course” director of the Argentinian Mountain Association; currently, he serves as the Chairperson for the Technical Committee. He has an extensive resume with guided climbs and first ascents all across the Globe and impressive educational experience in Mountaineering technical courses.
